Thinking of implementing a Web-based solution that integrates your existing legacy
resources? This course discusses the challenges of converting a character-based
legacy FOCUS application to WebFOCUS. You will perform a hands-on conversion of
a sample FOCUS application with a CRTFORM menu and FOCEXECs to a Web-based structured
ad hoc application.
You Will Learn How To:

Examine the five phases of a migration plan, especially planning and analysis

Import files from legacy applications into WebFOCUS

Employ WebFOCUS conversion techniques, including drill-down reports and working
with graphs

Publish reports as customized launch pages on the Web

Integrate FOCEXECs with HTML for structured ad hoc deployment
